Before the covid pandemic, we were living in an era when the world had become no less than a rollercoaster. We could jump off the cliffs, planes and get adventure thrills whenever we want to.
Travel has become so cheap that you can plan a trip to any of your favourite places anytime and everyone is on the roads nowadays.
COVID-19 Pandemic Happened!
Amid this busy ongoing world, what just happened? Yes, you got that right, I’m talking about the COVID-19 pandemic.
No doubt how many travel documentaries, movies, or books, zoom calls I devour, I still miss travelling freely as right now, I feel more like a bird trapped in a cage.
Retrospection of Life during this Pandemic
Well, coming to the point, it’s not really about the travel thing, no doubt I had travel plans in July, but I feel sad more about the normal life we used to lead.
I miss going outdoors, working in a friendly environment, working cafes with my favourite coffee in hand, meeting my friends, having a blast on Saturday nights with almost unlimited booze (especially the glass of red wine, shots, and sassy cocktails) and lively music.
I truly miss freedom! I feel sad while writing this sentence. It feels like some hater of mine came to me and took away all the happiness associated with my freedom.
It’s evidently true that you have all the comfort in your homes, but how long can a person work from home.
Earlier, when I had a 9-to-5 job, I used to think that the lucky are those who work from home with their own freedom. But now, when I retrospect my office days, I feel how lucky I was to have had a 9-to-5 job and work with freedom, literally….!! Also, I’ve realized how boring and lazy it is to work from home all the time.
Home Is Our World
Do you guys face problems in setting up a proper schedule for your work and personal life? Well, having an ideal schedule for work at home surely seems a big thing for me cause I really have a cluttered one, I guess!
Moreover, a lot is being said about how our lives will change post-pandemic. The travel industry will admittedly change, but do you really think that this pandemic has become the tweaking point of our lives?
Restrictions are probably being reduced on lockdowns, but the reality is really saddening as we all know things won’t go back to normality very soon! It will surely take a few years to eradicate the fear or maybe not completely!
